Technica Engineering GmbH is an electronics manufacturing company in the field of vehicle development.
We develop and produce our own software and electronic products, as well as provide consulting services to our customers for new development and test projects. Our technical specialization in the field of automotive Ethernet and ECU development enables us to offer technical solutions on topics such as embedded ECUs, on-board networks, ADAS, security, body function, comfort function, gateway and many more.


We are currently offering you a position as
Test Manager manual & automated testing for automotive ECUs (m/f/d)

in Ingolstadt in permanent employment

Main functions with the team:

  • Testing and validation of vehicle electronics prototypes (SW & HW) on HiL systems or test stations

  • Test planning, definition and implementation of test concepts and test systems for systems / control units in the vehicle

  • Development coordination for our customers in the automotive industry (system testing)

  • Continuous monitoring of test progress based on metrics

  • Creation and communication of test reports for stakeholders

  • Active communication with all relevant stakeholders

  • Definition of quality objectives and metrics

  • Risk management in the test area. Addressing potential problems at an early stage

  • Error management and escalation

  • Continuous improvement of the testing process. Establishing best practices in the testing area

  • Ensuring test documentation in Confluence

Job requirements

We would be delighted if you bring the following with you:

  • Completed studies or technician training in the field of electrical engineering, automotive engineering, computer science, industrial engineering or comparable training paths

  • Existing professional experience in AUDI & VW projects in the field of testing and development (Audi processes, Audi tool landscape...) is desirable

  • Knowledge of test management tools: Doors/Codebeamer, Jira, KPM, confluence

  • Knowledge of agile methods: Scrum, Kanban

  • Experience in the development and execution of test cases in HIL platforms, especially dSPACE and Vector

  • Bus systems experience; Ethernet, CAN, LIN, FlexRay

  • Knowledge of programming test scripts (e.g. Python, Groovy)

  • Knowledge of test automation frameworks/tools: Vector, CAPL, EXAM, dSPACE ControlDesk

  • Knowledge of measurement technology and analysis tools: CANOE, Analyzer, CANape, INCA, ODIS, IDEX

  • ISQTB certification desirable

  • Analytical thinking and structured way of working

  • Organizational skills: ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

  • Coordination skills

  • Communication and presentation skills

  • Problem solving skills: Strategic thinking to identify challenges in the testing process and develop solutions.

  • Strong communication skills in German and English are required to be able to work with different working groups and stakeholders.
