We develop and produce our own software and electronic products, as well as provide consulting services to our customers for new development and test projects. Our technical specialization in the field of automotive Ethernet and ECU development enables us to offer technical solutions on topics such as embedded ECUs, on-board networks, ADAS, security, body function, comfort function, gateway and many more.


We are currently offering you a position as
Test Engineer (m/f/d) for automated testing for automotive ECUs

in Ingolstadt in permanent employment

Main functions with the team:

  • Testing and validation of vehicle electronics prototypes (SW & HW) on HiL systems or test stations

  • Analysis of customer specifications and requirements on Doors / Codebeamer

  • Test planning, definition and implementation of test concepts and test systematics for systems / ECUs in the vehicle

  • Design and implementation of test specifications

  • Implementation and further development of test automation concepts (with EXAM, dSPACE ControlDesk)

  • Execution of test cases (manual and mainly automated)

  • Analysis and/or post-tests of bugs/defects incl. Creating & revising error tickets

  • Maintenance and optimization of test automation. Troubleshooting in scripts

  • Working with Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery environment

  • Collaboration and communication with other engineers and departments

Job requirements

We would be delighted if you bring the following with you:

  • Completed studies or technical training in the field of electrical engineering, automotive engineering, computer science, industrial engineering or comparable training paths

  • Experience in the development and execution of test cases in HIL platforms, especially dSPACE and Vector

  • Bus systems experience required; Ethernet, CAN, LIN, FlexRay

  • Knowledge of programming test scripts (e.g. Python, Groovy)

  • Knowledge of test automation frameworks/tools: Vector, CAPL, EXAM, dSPACE ControlDesk

  • Good knowledge of measurement technology (TTTech data logger, oscilloscope, etc.) and analysis tools: CANOE, Analyzer, CANape, INCA, ODIS, IDEX

  • ISQTB Foundation Level

  • Analytical thinking and a structured way of working

  • Strong communication skills to be able to work in a coordinated manner with different working groups

  • Good English and German language skills are required

  • Experience in the automotive sector desirable
