Technica Engineering GmbH is a manufacturing electronics company in the field of vehicle development.
We develop and produce our own software and electronic products, as well as providing consulting services to our customers for new development and test projects. Our technical specialization in the field of automotive Ethernet and ECU development enables us to offer technical solutions on topics such as embedded ECUs, on-board networks, ADAS, security, body function, comfort function, gateway and many more.

We are currently offering you a position as a
Development Engineer – Failure Analysis (m/f/d)
in permanent employment in Munich.

Your tasks:

• Analyze vehicle and component data from testing and validation processes (e.g. HiL, test bench, or field tests)

• Develop algorithms and methods for data processing and interpretation, including signal processing and statistical analyses

• Use measurement and diagnostic tools (e.g. Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, Wireshark)

• Perform detailed root cause analyses of malfunctions in control units and software

• Prepare reports and presentations summarizing analysis results and providing recommendations for stakeholders

• Work closely with development teams and customers

• Use Python to optimize functions and processes

We are delighted if you bring the following with you:

• Degree or technical training in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable field

• Good knowledge of communication bus systems such as CAN/LIN/FlexRay/Ethernet

• Experience with tools such as Wireshark and Vector CANoe

• Experience in trace analysis

• Programming skills in Python

• Familiarity with measurement technology (e.g. multimeter, oscilloscope)

• Experience in the automotive sector and understanding of OEM processes

• Strong communication skills and confident appearance when dealing with customers

• Solid understanding of systems and technical interrelations

• Resilience, initiative, independence, as well as team spirit and flexibility

• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken, are an advantage

• Existing factory driving permits are a plus
